The performance is divided into two parts:
“Who’s Shadow” is the first performance of the rock band IZ since “Seventy-Two Hours of Comeback”. The addition of saxophonist Lao Dan is the biggest highlight and variable of this performance-this performance will focus on presenting the 12-year For the full-length tracks of IZ’s classic album “Shadow” (of course, there are other golden songs) published before, Mamur re-arranged and orchestrated the IZ band in an attempt to drag the IZ band into a deeper rhythmic quagmire. Saying more is the best New Year gift for deep IZ fans.

The IZ band is definitely an outlier in the history of Chinese music.
They are mysterious characters passed on by Chinese music fans, and they are also a group of wild horses running along the blood of Kazakh traditional music. In the past ten years, from the early “Kazakh folk songs”, “national music”, “world music” to the later “Kazakh industrial rock”, the IZ band has constantly redefined its boundaries, and finally embarked on a lonely journey without hesitation.
Their music is full of midnight ravings, deconstructed fragments of the ancient Kazakh epic; the majestic dry bass sound and the mysterious rhythm woven by a bunch of electric fans, oxygen cylinders, and gasoline drums used as percussion instruments envelop the half-dream and half-awake wildness, Propelling them to bow their heads and sneak towards the unknown darkness.
“IZ” means “footprint” in Kazakh. Although the meaning is simple, it indicates the fate of this talented band: constantly exploring and changing, but never arriving.

Area 51 is called 51-RAYON in Kazakh and AREA51 in English.
The name comes from the famous secret military base in Lincolnshire, Nevada, USA, which is mysteriously named “Area 51” on the map. It is a holy land where the legendary aliens and ufo incidents frequently occur, a veritable forbidden zone. At the same time, Area 51 also has nicknames such as Watertown, Dreamland, and Paradise Ranch. Area 51 provided an enclave for Mamur’s musical leanings towards psychedelic space and dark waves.
