14th Overseas Returnees Career Fair (Autumn) @ Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Hall 5) – Futian

THE 14th Overseas Returnees Career Fair (Autumn) will hold its Shenzhen session Sept. 24, the event’s organizers, jobshaigui.com and the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Returnees Association, announced Saturday at a press conference.
The Shenzhen session is scheduled to take place at Hall 5 of Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District. The job fair, with an area covering 7,500 square meters, is expected to gather over 100 well-known enterprises with 1,500-plus vacancies and nearly 8,000 jobseekers.
In addition, the other three sessions of the job fair will be held in Shanghai on Oct. 15, Guangzhou on Oct. 22 and Beijing on Nov. 5. The number of attendees for the four sessions is estimated to reach 15,000.
Tencent, TCL CSOT, Foxconn, PricewaterhouseCoopers and HSBC Group, among other top-notch companies, will hunt for suitable candidates for posts in finance and securities, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, education, real estate and overseas marketing, according to the organizers.
According to the statistics from the Ministry of Education, the number of college graduates in 2022 is anticipated to be 10.76 million, up by 1.67 million year on year – a record high both in number and growth rate. There has also been a surge in the number of overseas returnees after the pandemic’s outbreak. In 2021, the number of overseas educated students returning to China for employment exceeded 1 million for the very first time.
Overseas Returnees Career Fair is a long-term brand development project by jobshaigui.com, aiming to serve overseas returnees in the process of job hunting and eventual employment. The fair has been held biannually in spring and autumn since 2015, touring through major cities such as Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Hangzhou in the past 13 sessions, with its largest number of participants reaching 15,000.
