SUMMARY:Ours | Dim Sum Rave: Enjoy a Leisurely Tea Time!
LOCATION:Yu Ba Xian (Shenzhen Bay branch)
DESCRIPTION:October 17th, Ours | Dim Sum Rave: Enjoy a leisurely tea time! A pot of tea and a few dim sum dishes. This is the most traditional way for the people of Guangzhou to spread gossip. Every time I go for dim sum, I already plan out what I want to eat before the meal: shrimp dumplings, siu mai, chicken feet, spare ribs, char siu bao, custard buns, beef balls, red rice rolls, and of course, my favorite glutinous rice chicken, plus a pot of Pu'er tea. Dim Sum Rave isn't just about dim sum. This time, Ours is moving the event to Yu Ba Xian (Shenzhen Bay branch), a Cantonese restaurant with a strong Lingnan flavor. After nightfall, we'll bring you different music and a special live set of traditional Chinese instruments. Yumbles, a kombucha brand from Hong Kong, will be bringing several special kombucha cocktails to the event. Wang Lao Jin Ni Drinks will also be bringing some classic cocktails. If you want to try the classics, remember to find Lao Wang and Jinny (the assistant version, not DJing)! Tea, snacks, music, and a Lingnan-style venue are all ready. Just waiting for you to dress up in your traditional Cantonese/Chinese attire and come dance! Scan the QR ticket link to purchase tickets. All tickets can be redeemed for a "One Cup, Two Dishes" set: 1 Yumbles kombucha cocktail or non-alcoholic kombucha + 2 snacks. Tickets are required for entry to the Dim Sum Rave event.
