Speaking of Ireland, it is a country located in western Europe, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Northern Ireland to the northeast, and the island of Great Britain across the Irish Sea to the east. Dublin, the capital, is known as the “Silicon Valley of Europe”. Techno and Tech Trance music styles were popular in local nightclubs during the millennium, influencing generations of music fans. Well-known Trance artists such as John O’Callaghan, Bryan Kearney, Sneijder, etc., and our protagonist Paul Denton experienced the golden age of Irish Rave, which started him on the road of making music.
After entering 2010, Paul Denton began to make his mark at Discover, Aria, Defcon, Flux Delux and other labels. Later, he met Darren Flynn, a fellow Irishman. Flynn was once the resident DJ at the Temple Theater nightclub in Ireland. He also released a single on the famous Italian label BXR. The two of them had the same musical concept and decided to form a group called Flynn. & Denton combination.
Together, they hope to elevate Trance music to a higher level of energy, present their own emotional expression through melody, and let the audience gather on the dance floor to feel it. The group’s first release was “Say My Name”, a collaboration with Northern Ireland’s soulful female vocalist Audrey Gallagher, which was released on the Subculture label managed by fellow Irishman John O’Callaghan.
The group later went on a long-term hiatus after releasing works on Kearnage and FSOE labels. In 2017, Paul Denton created a new remix of Ton TB’s classic work “Electronic Malfunction” that combines Psy and Tech Trance. This remix with strong dancefloor appeal was adopted by Armin van Buuren took the stage to the main stage, which made many mainstream people pay attention to this potential Irish Trance stock.
Paul Denton firmly believes that as long as he is willing to work hard, he can succeed. In the past few years, he has gained a lot. He has released a series of powerful Uplifting Trance/Tech Trance works on many well-known Trance music labels, creating his own Unique music style.
Paul Denton’s outstanding musical talent naturally attracted the attention of Aly & Fila, who asked him to produce the FSOE 700 theme song “Rise Up” alone. Friends in the industry, Ciaran McAuley and Craig Connelly, invited him to participate in the album production. Paul Denton, who has been blessed by many heavyweight works, was successfully shortlisted for No. 73 on the 1001Tracklists Top 101 list in 2022. He issued a final acceptance speech on social media.

Paul Denton is currently on the rise in his career. Last year, Trance Family China, Trance Family Shenzhen, and Shanghai Trance Family jointly presented Paul Denton’s unforgettable China debut in Shenzhen. This year, he is planning to prepare his first album in his music career. On May 2, he will perform at Celia Shanghai for the first time. .
