Attributing a song to a melody is a way of listening,
So we want to emphasize “on-site” .
Attributing songs to systems is a way of understanding,
So we want to emphasize “folk” .
Although folk ballads are a well-defined and widely recognized music genre, when folk ballads and singers’ personal creations and performances meet, the uncertainties of the latter two are like active molecules. Definitions have some permissive boundaries. At this time, the changeable characteristics of the folk singers can be tolerated. They can jump out of the old-fashioned stereotype of one person and one piano, and can also be three-dimensional with the organization of the band, showing diversity in the way of rock.
This is the live music we are doing together with Ma Yi and Zhao Huier .
Ma Yi and Zhao Huier were singing in the city. Although the two voices have different styles, they are both the most peaceful everyday language purified from personal feelings. This ease and simplicity is a sincere revealing of the romantic narrative, and a cordial answer to the upcoming exploration in different cities. Here, union, which seems to be a random performance, is actually a ritualized ceremony that occasionally deviates from the daily life.
