Hello everyone, my name is Wang Zi, a mime actor.
“Mime Blind Box Show” was created in 2021. The audience can see the names of all the short stories when they buy tickets. Before the performance, I will select 5 to 7 paragraphs from my own mime works. The selection will be affected by the time and environment of the scene. , the influence of the state, so which paragraphs of the specific performance content have strong randomness,
Over time, new and improved works have also been added to the “prize pool” of the blind box show.
If the atmosphere at the scene is good, and there are audiences who especially want to watch a certain work, it is also possible to “designate” it.
The idea of creating “The Mime Blind Box Show” was formed at the end of 2019. In that year, the world suddenly changed, and the cost of everyone’s performances and specials suddenly increased.
Everyone started to put on a show for “practice”. Compared to before, my personal works are all coherent, and there will be a theme in 90 minutes. Even the same story.
But such a form is very inconvenient when it is time to “fight the stage”. It is always impossible to prepare for ten minutes and then perform for fifteen minutes, leaving other actors in the background anxious and hungry, staring at the stage like a hungry jackal.
It’s so inelegant and takes up everyone’s time.
So I condensed many of my works into very short fragments, and I also created some new short works.
When creating, I found that such a size is actually more suitable for my mime, and the use of jokes will be more free. (referring only to my personal style of mime)
So we created such a form of work after the performance resumed.
