14:45-15:25 Isaac Cohen – Wildlife

Isaac Cohen, a biologist with an immense passion for wildlife photography, has been recording Shenzhen’s animal biodiversity for the past five years. Being able to capture species that defy the logic of what is supposed to inhabit a megacity and dedicated to educate its citizens on how to protect them. Isaac has been invited by different institutions as a guest speaker on environmental education and photography. He also has his own column in Shenzhen Daily Newspaper and the Education Bureau of Shenzhen. And his photographic work has been recognized and awarded internationally.

15:25-16:05 Jason Illidge – Street

Jason Illidge is a street photographer from London. He has been based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong for the past 12 years. His photos shy away from glorious landscapes and heavenly skies, and focus on the regular, day to day lives of the people that surround us in this sprawling megalopolis. In this talk, he will make our eyes look a little closer to home, at the characters and “Normal” people we share this city with.
