Deconstructing Harry is based on the comedy genre, it was born at a time when he was in a period of self-loathing, when he was critical of every possible aspect of himself. However, it seemed that he was unwilling to let himself out of it so quickly, an aversion that meant a new life at the other end of the spectrum.
