What needs to be emphasized and explained is that there are indeed many rules in the Jam Session of jazz. In addition to the hormones you have in mind, you do need to have some accumulation of jazz standard songs and a certain rational understanding of playing jazz. We won’t judge your performance, but we will improve with you.
