Mr. Peng Benhao, now in his seventies, has been residing in Shenzhen for many years. With a career spanning nearly fifty years, he has persistently sought the roots of life and a spiritual homeland. His creations, themed around the rustic charm of his hometown’s waterside, delve deep into the mysteries of natural life, exuding vitality and breath. In Peng Benhao’s works, images of riverside deities from ancient poetry intertwine with scenes of rural life, depicting the immense energy of the working people embedded in his memory. The shimmering waters, swaying boats, blooming lotuses, and swimming fish vividly showcase the raw vitality of nature. Across endless lakes and vast lands, lush reeds, thriving water plants, bustling flocks of ducks, and toiling laborers evoke the timeless joys and sorrows of existence, revealing the primal connection between living beings.
