Scope of the Event:
“Pawspective: Unleashing Hope” aims to challenge perceptions of shelter dogs and promote their beauty as lifelong companions. The bilingual event ensures a comprehensive experience for both Chinese and overseas audiences, making it the first of its kind in Shenzhen. Face Painting Booth:

Educational Lectures:

Auction:
Participate in a silent auction featuring showcased photographs, with all proceeds directly benefiting Karuna Rescue. Your bid supports the shelter’s mission to save and provide ongoing support for dogs in need.Cotton Candy Stand:
Indulge in a sweet treat rarely seen – cotton candy! All revenue from the sales will go directly to Karuna, contributing to their noble cause.
Contest with Prizes:

Alcohol Stand:
Enjoy refreshing alcoholic drinks from 丁北三号, one of the best whisky bars in Shenzhen, with 10% of sales going directly to Karuna.
About Karuna Rescue:
Founded in 2018, Karuna Rescue is a Shenzhen-based animal rescue operating in the Pearl River Delta. Fostering almost a hundred dogs from across China, they strive to bring an end to animal abuse and find forever homes for neglected dogs.
Organizer – David Bilicky & NowShenzhen:
Event organizer David Bilicky, a Project Manager and community enthusiast, brings his passion for art and community building to Shenzhen. His varied experiences include founding international projects and collaborating with organizations like National Geographic Traveler and Shenzhen Media Group. NowShenzhen is an enthusiastic supporter of the dog community and provided critical support throughout the organization process.
