As a well-known pioneer, his visual identity, Jesse Kanda, is the visual creator and inspiration muse of Arca, Bj ö rk, and FKAtwigs, He has created some of the most impressive and refreshing visual concepts and images in history for these three phenomenal musicians. As a versatile artist, he is also a visual partner of Hood by Air’s, Gentle Monster, and BYREDO, and has held solo exhibitions in MoMA, New York and Liquidroom, Kyoto. As a musician, Doon Kanda, He is one of the most important and eye-catching avant-garde music producers since 2017. Throughout the past decade in the field of avant-garde art, whether it is visual art or sound art, his name and work aesthetics are an important existence that cannot be bypassed, and no one knows it. This is his first Chinese tour and his first comeback after nearly six years away from the stage! He will bring his newly created visuals, a new live set, and his rare DJ set. In addition, on August 18th at OIL in Shenzhen, Antigen will collaborate with OIL. In addition to Kanda, Arca’s most important early inspiration partner, we also invited Venezuelan expert Safety Trance a.k.a. Cardopusher, who has almost all of Arca’s recent music production, to present a heavyweight double VIP lineup. Their on-site collisions and frictions will create amazing sparks, which is undoubtedly worth exploring.
