“Acid House” aka “Psychedelic House” “Acid House”, it is a sub-genre under House. It adds a more acidic (Acid) psychedelic flavor to the previous House. In the 1980s, when the hot house dance music occupied the dance hall, some party DJs began to try to add the sound effect of the Roland TB-303 synthesizer to it. This psychedelic effect just fit the carnival culture of the club at that time. Later, this style of music spread to Britain across the ocean, and quickly entered the mainstream charts , which in turn influenced the style of pop music and dance music.

Acid House isn’t just a genre of music, it’s a culture. Everything about Acid House is full of life, and its emergence slowly breaks down the barriers of class, which can be said to cross racial, geographical and cultural boundaries. So the spiritual core of Acid House is – equality.
