On Jun 26, the German Chamber of Commerce in China · South & Southwest (GCC·SSW), together with TÜV SÜD, will co-organize an offline Knowledge Hub about Cybersecurity of Wireless Devices: What Companies Need to Know.
The legislative process of data privacy protection continues to accelerate, and the trend of personal data protection in various countries or regions has spread to various industries and fields. Take the European Union (“EU”) General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) as an example, this regulation, as a legal act of the EU, aims to protect the rights of personal data in the EU and make specific provisions on the cross-border transfer of data. The GDPR is called as one of the “toughest personal data protection regulation in history”. May 25, 2023, marks the fifth anniversary of the GDPR.
How to help enterprises to identify and reduce their compliance risks in the process of providing products and services when expanding in the EU market, GDPR certification as approach to prove that data processing activities comply with EU regulations, can enable data processing activities to select data processors with adequate levels of data protection and authorization for cross-border data transfer.
