Zeng Dekang——
Asia’s most respected jazz bass player. He made a name for himself playing rock music at the age of sixteen and turned to jazz in his twenties. He has collaborated with Faye Wong, Alan Tam, Karen Mok, Eason Chan and other musicians in music production and stage performances many times. He is active in jazz festivals around the world, including Seoul in South Korea, Krakow in Poland, Vietnam, Bangkok in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Taichung, Hong Kong, etc. Foreign media commented that “he showed extraordinary creative ability on stage, and he can be said to be a musician among musicians.”
Wang Tianxiao——
Young jazz guitarist, currently studying at The New School in New York. Under the tutelage of the world’s top jazz guitarists Gilad Hekselman, Max Light and Nir Felder, he was instructed by legendary jazz masters Reggie Workman, Jimmy Owens and others. Wang Tianxiao’s performance draws nourishment from the tradition and continues to explore in the contemporary sound. He was praised by Gilad as a very talented student.
