Jammin with the Bears @ Cafe Society – Futian

May 18, 2023 @ 9:00 pm

Boy, do we have a surprise for you!

On Thursday (18th of May) in Cafe Society, we’re doing a bit more than our regular open mic night!

We decided to spice it up and bring you a special show!

You’ll see:

– some of the regulars y’all know (Aaron and Rich);

-one semi-regular Dongguan boy(Leo);

-one New York based comedian, originally from Shenzhen (Miller Rogue).

The show is hosted by the crankiest of the Bears – Steven.

Straight outta pig farm in Serbia, here to share his knowledge and ignorance about anything really.

Featuring:

Born and raised in Birmingham City, but for some reason got a degree in fine arts and not hooliganism. Looks like Bruno Mars if you ordered him on Tao Bao and has a lot of ideas and observations he is not afraid to share.

After an English dude we had to include someone Chinese in order for this show not to look like a colonization attempt.

This one went went to school in London so he could teach them not to fuck with a Chinese guy wearing a drop downs.

A polyglot stand up comedian based in New York (originally from Shenzhen). He opened for Jim Gaffigan! And is now on tour.

Mr. Rogue is coming home for a week so we decided to give him some stage time! 🎤

Somehow survived Coventry. Ended up in the one of the world’s finest universities and got the degree in physics in order to teach children how to pronounce the word “apple” properly.

Great storyteller who will give you a glimpse into his experience of China after which you’ll consider your own China experience irrelevant.

This show is COMPLETELY FREE to attend, so we KINDLY URGE you to BUY drinks/food and support the venue! 🍻🥂🍹🍔🍝
