The evolutionary history of jazz drives the course of contemporary music. The free spirits of jazz inspire musicians to expand the frames of various musical genres with a more focused and exploratory attitude. Here we welcome those who share the same musical beliefs to exchange musical ideas and leave your own unique footprints.
Two Friday nights at the beginning of Fall, our stage is open for improvisation and various kinds of musical interactions
Event Guidelines
To musicians:
1.We welcome all musicians with pure enthusiasm for music! In order for sign up please contact us by phone or WeChat: 15302618010 and provide the following information: Name + Instrument + Genre/Style + Intended Tracks (if any), we will arrange a lineup for the night accordingly.
2.You could not go wrong with Standard Jazz, Funk, R&B, Neo Soul and related musical styles which have been our musical emphasis.
3.The venue is equipped with keyboard, double bass, drums, guitar amp and bass amp, please bring your own instrument if it isn’t in the list.
4.Drinks coupons for each participating musician!
To our audiences:
1.Our Jam Session is an event open to musicians hosted to inspire informal onstage exchange. it is NOT a formal performance. We cherish a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and encourage you to applause all the participating musicians. Your support means a lot!
2.In order to respect the performing musicians on stage, please keep your voice down and put your phone on silent or vibrate mode; avoid flash when photos or videos are taken.
3.Please enter before 9:00, and do not bring any take-away food or drinks into the venue.

Bass Chen Fangbiao
Chen graduated from Shenzhen University, majoring in Pop Instrumental Performance under the tutelage of bassist Wang Xubo.
Keyboard Yang Jiaxing
Yang graduated from Shenzhen University, majoring in Pop Instrumental Performance. He is involved in Classical, Pop, Funk, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Soul, Fusion and other styles in keyboard performance and has accumulated his own music works.
Drums Huang Bingjia
Huang is an undergraduate student of the School of Music and Dance and Popular Instrumental Performance at Shenzhen University, under the tutelage of renowned Chinese jazz drum educator Zhan Minghui
