The evolutionary history of jazz drives the course of contemporary music. Jazz musicians today have acquired a more focused, adventurous spirit.
In a venue that unites musical beliefs, improvisation is the beacon light for those who are constantly searching on their musical journey.
We invite you to experiment with musicians you may have just met, witness different musical choices colliding and share your unique insights into the art of music.

吴金儒 Kam Yu Ng
Professional Drummer
Ng studied at Beijing Midi School of Music and Beijing Contemporary Music Academy in 2008-09 under the tutelage of the famous Chinese drummer Song Liang. He was admiited to Los Angeles Music Academy and The Collective School Of Music. In 2012, Ng graduated from The Collective School Of Music where he systematically studied Contemporary Jazz and Post Bop with Professor Ian Froma and Odd Mete and Walking Time Feel (courses) with Sean Conly, Joe Fitzgerald and Marko Djordjevic. While studying in New York City, Ng’s teachers also include Mark Guiliana and Nate Smith, both extraordinary drummers.
After returning to China, Ng devoted himself to jazz education, live performance, music festivals and programs. He joined TYZ Music Band founded by famous music producer Tan Yizhe and collaborated with artists including Mao Buyi, Yiyang Qianxi, Wang Yuan, Rocket Girls, Ai Re and Zhang Liangying.

Notice
1. Registration is open until 00:00 on the day of the event, the following information should be provided: name/instrument/style/intended track. The host will arrange the on-stage schedule; only registration by our wechat customer service account is valid. customer service on WeChat: 15302618010
2. Each signed up musician is encouraged to play on stage for at least one section, jazz standard is expected. Other genres including R&B、Funk、Neo Soul are welcomed if not excluding other musicians. The section will be led by the host.
3. We offer drums and keyboard, bring your instruments!
4. Event starts at 9pm sharp, please arrive in advance
5. 50% off discount of in-store drinks is offered to participating musicians
