“National Center for the Performing Arts International Opera and Film Exhibition” will meet you again this year! One year later, the Shenzhen station of this year’s film festival is still held in “Shenzhen Broadway Film Center” and “Shenzhen Paragon Cinemas”. The 11th and 12th movies will be screened in two theaters from May 12th to May 21st . The classic opera films will be screened for one round in each theater, bringing auditory and visual feasts to audiences in Shenzhen who like Chinese and foreign operas and movies.
The film festival includes 3 opera films in Chinese and 8 opera films in foreign languages .China’s excellent opera films are: “Guest on the Iceberg” , which sincerely praises the friendship of the Uyghur nation , recalls the classic songs “Why Are Flowers So Red”, “Iceberg Snow Lotus”, and “Tajik Eagle”; Jiangsu opera “The River of Canal” , listen to Dai Yuqiang and Yin Xiumei, big names in the opera world, sing their voices on the same stage, and feel the feelings of Chinese history and culture; the 3D panoramic sound Peking Opera movie ” Xiao Heyue Chasing Han Xin” , one of the representative plays of the Qi School of Peking Opera, is often performed and never tired of watching. Won film festival awards for the first time;8 classic opera films in foreign languages are produced in a variety of countries and styles: “Lucia di Lammermoor” , which shows the style and soul of Italian romanticism , portrays the image of women struggling under patriarchalism; uses modern style sets and art The “Meistersinger of Nuremberg” commemorates the 210th anniversary of the birth of Wagner, the scriptwriter and composer; the 100th anniversary of the birth of the greatest soprano Callas in the 20th century, and recalls this great woman with the documentary film “Karas: Voice for Love” .At the same time, there are “Carmen” with shocking stage design and stunning visual effects ; ” Troubled” which tells the love and hatred between two generations and the life-and-death contest between brothers ; Nella” ; Mozart’s famous peak opera “The Marriage of Figaro” , about love, but there is no lack of intrigue, disguise and insinuation; the “Nightingale Flying from China” Huang Ying plays the princess Pamela, showing a beautiful and clear soprano “Magic Flute” .
