Hanggai band “original” national tour @ HOU Live (Qianhai Store)

On the evening of December 17, Hanggai Band held the first stop of its “Original” tour in Hohhot. At the scene, many audience members wore Mongolian costumes to watch the performance, which was full of a sense of ceremony.The song “Four Seasons” kicked off the performance. The melodious sound of the matouqin was paired with the humai with its own reverberation. At that moment, the electromagnetic waves of the audience began to resonate at the same frequency, as if they had come to the vast grassland and felt the endless Desolation, a sense of oppression, a sense of fate.
The music of Hanggai Band is not only desolate, but also passionate and joyful. The prelude of “Drinking Song” sounded, immediately heating up Hohhot at minus 20°C and igniting the atmosphere of the entire venue. In the second half of the song, the rhythm became faster and faster, making the body beat unconsciously, and the atmosphere reached a climax.
Listening to “Drinking Song”, I felt like I was in a Mongolian banquet. Everyone exchanged glasses, sang and danced, showing the pride of the people of the grassland. Hanggai Band’s songs are always so picturesque.Halfway through the performance, lead singer Hu Richa selected an audience member and gave him the first performance benefit.
