Fusion Jazz Guitar Legend Scott Henderson World Tour @ Meeting Jazz Club Shenzhen

April 9 @ 8:00 am 5:00 pm

In February 2024, fusion jazz guitar legend Scott Henderson released his highly anticipated new album “Karnevel!” 》!

“Karnevel!” presents a rich and beautiful body of work that showcases Scott’s ability to combine elements of jazz, rock, funk and blues in a pure, smooth and musical way. As a musician who has led bands for over 40 years, Scott’s playing and composition career continues to evolve.

The album was recorded with People Mover bassist Romain Labaye and drummer Archibald Ligonnière, and after the live recording, Scott spent considerable time adding additional guitar tracks to the album. “I’m glad I was able to create some sounds that have never been used before,” Scott said in a recent interview. “It was very important to me that the album had richness and rhythm, it covers a lot of ground, from heavy rock to harmonious jazz, and there’s also a solo guitar piece that I’ve never tried on a previous album Pass.”

Regarding the concept of the album, Scott said this: “It came from me being a fan of the Los Angeles Carnival Fair, and as a father, not a child. Disneyland is fun, but the fair is even more wonderful! Even a little weird and absurd , full of jokes and crazy vibes, all kinds of stuff, just like my music.”
