About Jiafeng
Currently living in Shanghai, he is also a producer, singer, cultural short video memer and multimedia artist. He freely uses hyperpop, punk, electronic, core, shoegaze and other music styles to transform into imaginative Chinese pop music, like a bold and avant-garde style buffet. And his DJ set is an enhanced version of all the above XXXL, injecting the power of a roller coaster into the dance floor wherever he goes.
It has been selected as one of the top ten most popular HyperPop albums in 2020 by RateYourMusic, included in the best album column of 2020 by the electronic music magazine Mixmag, shortlisted for the Best Single of the Year in the 2021 Singapore FMA Chinese Music Awards, and has been a guest on the London radio station NTS Radio many times. He is active in the world electronic/super pop scene with pioneering musicians such as Catnapp, Bloodz Boi, felicita, Galen Tipton, and Recovery Girl. He has also collaborated with well-known artists in the Chinese music scene such as Da Zhangwei, Zhang Qiang, AKINI JING, and 9m88.
A series of humorous yet thought-provoking short videos he shoots on his mobile phone often go viral on the Chinese-language internet.
