The band was formed in April 2019, released its first EP “RoadKill” in September, and was invited to perform at the Simple Life Festival in Shanghai and Taipei. EP.
In 2021, the orchestra’s first album “Ru Mao Drinking Blood” will be officially released. The album combines post-punk, rock, metal, jazz, blues, reggae and other elements of various genres. As guitarist Quilon said, knocking down sandwiches is like a breakfast shop with all kinds of stuffing The combination sandwiches with different ingredients should occasionally have unexpected flavors. The title of the album is “Ru Mao Drinking Blood”, which describes the life of prehistoric humans who did not know how to use fire and ate raw food. You can observe feelings from the contrasting perspective of “savage civilized man” or “Flintstones”, and touch the core of the album. Facing the primitive and rough living conditions, people who often stream in the virtual world, especially in the gap between the old and the new; even though technology leads the pace of the world, it occasionally limits the imagination space and magnifies the feeling of loneliness. Through this album, Down with Sandwich wants to invite you who are still walking alone: listen to Sandwich’s songs, and work together hand in hand; resist negative attitudes, and feel a better life!
