📚 What is a doujin? What is doujin music? Everyone will have their own answer in their hearts. From the well-known definition, doujin is unofficial commercial creation (クリエーティブ) with like-minded people, usually around animation works, music projects, comics and games. Fan music is the product of this creative background.
🗼 Those classic animation works and two-dimensional works always inadvertently come out of the circle and break into our lives. Those familiar anime theme songs, game soundtracks, and Vocaloid music always linger in my ears. They may have brought happiness and memories to you as a child; they may have brought you a rebellious adolescence, a common topic with your classmates, and spiritual support under high-pressure study and life; or perhaps today, it can still give you Provide the unique sense of belonging and collectiveness of minority culture, let you take a rest and relax in the impetuous and indifferent urban torrent, and become your spiritual pure land and safe haven.
🎵Many doujin music creators, based on the visual basis of the two-dimensional characters, combined it with classic animation/game music, and matched it with electronic music styles such as Techno, Trance, DnB, Hardcore, etc., to build a unique two-dimensional world electronic music aesthetic system.
🎮 On March 16, the DOUJINSTYLE series of activities returned to OIL, and launched a special audio game event planning with Phigros and music label SoulNotes. In addition to the familiar music DJ Mix session brought by DOUJINSTYLE’s resident members LittleMonster, Tsukubakobu, Mochizuki Mashiro, and Simon B. We welcome every audio game “tentacle” in front of the screen to go out of the Internet and join this offline meeting.
