“Daily” 2024 Tour @ Hou Live (Xiasha Store)

The name “Chasing the Sun” originated from an idea two years ago, planning to do a real road tour, driving a team of eight musicians and two photographers in three cars through fifty cities in this country and Make a documentary. We were inspired by the value of this event and had intense discussions about the cities we planned to visit. It wasn’t until I started to work out the details of this plan one by one before the album was released that I discovered that none of the first three details could be met, or in other words, they were far from satisfactory. They were budget, risk and personnel. So the plan collapsed, as if it had never happened. But the name Zhuri is still used, probably because physics and experience have proved that no matter whether people’s plans are big or small, the sun will always be where it should be, and it will not change.
We cannot avoid being extremely harsh on the performance from beginning to end, not so much on the content of the performance, but on the meaning of the performance itself. As a band, we believe that the essence of performance is to present music and the extension of music as best as possible. Rock band performances also need to use this kind of presentation to express and convey, but we rarely feel it on the high stage of the performance. This is timely and harmonious with the overall scene. And the sense of nihility brought about by those self-combusting performances performed in a state of fragmentation always makes us feel like we are drowning in dead water after the end. This is far worse than numbness. So in this necessary and increasingly necessary harshness, touring seems to have become the only choice in the performance. Since its meaning is determined by us and it is the stone we push forward, it is obvious that the mercenary plan and the mercenary People who come from the music of the Jade Sui Project must be harmonious in at least a certain dimension.
Of course, there may also be friends who come here purely for entertainment. If you can see these words, I hope you will find another place to go, and there will definitely be a better choice.
The current situation is difficult for other people. I think I am not alone, so I won’t go into details. The Sun Tempering Chronicle has been completed, and our mission can be considered over. Tomorrow is unpredictable. Considering that “Chasing the Sun” may be the last dance, we still brought a photographer this time to record the entire tour as much as possible. It’s fire or ashes, leave some marks, it’s not a waste of time for you and me to chase each other.
