About CORKI
Corki, who grew up in an artistic family, started learning classical piano at the age of 4 under the guidance of his father. Because he fell in love with martial arts stars in kung fu movies when he was young, he was admitted to the Shanghai Academy of Opera at the age of 10 and studied Kunqu Opera for 6 years. After only two years of study, he performed the excerpt opera “Lu Hua Dang” in the Shanghai Kunqu Opera Troupe, playing the role of Zhou Yu. He also shared the stage with Mr. Mei Baojiu, a famous opera artist, at the National Grand Theater. The Shanghai Kuntuan Troupe and Shanghai Opera both received high praise and expectations.
