Japan’s DJ Nobu is one of a kind; a DJ with no fixed style but instead a very real ability to draw on a wide world of music and cook up his own unique sound spaces. He is something of a cult figure for those who know with decades of experience, all of which are distilled at his acclaimed party ‘Future Terror’, his label ‘Bitta’ and his few choice production outings.
Async Figure is the culmination of 15 years of artistic collaboration between south London artists MM and Suda; a heart-on-sleeve outpouring of their total musical vision. The duo find their natural home on Sea Cucumber, run by Taiwan-based experimental techno luminary Tzusing, who was inspired to kick off the label in 2021 when he heard their early music.
Blood Boy is considered a pioneering figure and underground culture legend in China’s Cloud Rap field. He is also one of the few Chinese musicians who are truly famous and influential in the current international independent music industry. DJ YANGFAN666 is a blood The boy’s DJ personality likes to tease the dance floor with unexpected song selections and illogical mixing techniques. Currently, he shares music more as a radio DJ and runs his own monthly program on NTS Radio.
bod [Baojiaxiang] Born in Tucson, USA, and now living in Berlin, this is an audiovisual performance-based project by artist N. Zhu. Initially, he collaborated with a number of music labels, online groups and quasi-political organizations. Created a series of music, videos and texts that are full of emotion and at the same time have a sense of mystery. Gradually bod [Baojiaxiang] expanded the project from a cyber-realist micro-analysis of poverty, alienation, and disidentification to broader areas including dualistic mysticism, spiritual science, non-Euclidean time, and the fight against the apocalypse Counter-accelerationism of the mind and anti-psychological action. His musical style covers many areas, exploring all levels of human experience in a unique way.
