Welcome to our Animal Flow® Level 1 certification training to be held in Shenzhen on November 4th and 5th, 2023. The training lasts for two days, 8 hours a day, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm. Certification training will be held at Shenzhen Dream Fitness (Futian Center Gym). This certification training will be taught in Chinese by coach trainer Chao “K” Zang, with on-site Chinese translation.
L1 is a two-day focused certification training (16 hours in total), where you will learn all L1 movement techniques, including regressions, advancements and various technical changes of movements, a total of 30. You’ll explore under what circumstances and how to use each action, and how to connect them together into a flow of your own design.
This certification training is open to fitness professionals and non-fitness professionals alike, and we welcome everyone who wants to become a better athlete. Fitness professionals qualify as Animal Flow Certified Instructors, allowing them to teach AF in personal training sessions, group classes, or other fitness programs. To become a certified coach, you need to complete an assessment test after certification training. We also welcome all non-fitness professionals to participate in certification training. After passing the assessment test, they can become an Animal Flow certified expert. However, Animal Flow classes may not be taught without obtaining the appropriate fitness professional certification. About the Course
You’ll learn all six elements of Animal Flow, including progression patterns (the “ABCs” of animal movement), transitions and connections, wrist movement, activation, form-specific stretches, and, of course, flow.
This certification training begins with instruction in basic forms and systematically builds up difficulty and complexity over two days. Exercise is taught with a scientific foundation and the concepts are relevant to professionals in the health and fitness industry. At the end of the second day, the class will work together to practice a sequence, called Beast Flow, which incorporates most of the moves in the certification training. Participants can draw on this structure and start their own creative practices from it.

- This certification training is open to all skill levels. You need to be able to support your own weight in a quadrupedal position and meet the medical requirements to participate in sports activities. Participants must be over 18 years old.

Continuing Education Credit
Graded courses are approved to provide continuing education credit from:
- American Council on Exercise (ACE) 1.1 points;
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) 1.1 points;
- Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) 11 points;
- International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) 13 points;
- UAE REPs 13 points.

This certification training will be conducted on-site at Shenzhen Dream Fitness Studio.

Cancellation and refund
- if you need Canceling your registration for certification training or other events may result in a partial refund, depending on the distance to the training date, subject to the terms below. Please note that we schedule Instructor Training Officer time and travel based on registration numbers from several months ago. Therefore, if you must cancel, we cannot offer a full refund.
- If you must cancel due to conflicts, emergencies (including but not limited to COVID-19), or other reasons, you may choose to transfer your registration to a future online or in-person event.
- If you request a cash refund, the amount will depend on the distance from the training date. For registrations that have been “paid in full” (early registration or regular registration), refunds will be made minus a $15 processing fee, according to the following schedule: 60 days or more until training: 100%; 45 – 59 days 75%; 30 – 44 days: 50%; 15 – 29 days: 25%; two weeks or less before training: $0 USD. Cash refund requests must be made within two weeks of requesting cancellation. Otherwise, your registration will be transferred to future certification training.
- The registration deposit is non-refundable within 90 days of certification training.
- You may transfer your registration to another person, but it is your responsibility to verify that person’s identity and to conduct all financial transfers directly with that person.
- If the training is canceled by GBT for any reason, GBT will provide a full refund (without any handling fee).
- There are no exceptions to this refund policy.
