Films scores are very capable of expressing the joy, sadness, pain, and compassion from each individual story. They contain almost all the important aspects of our living experience as human beings – mutual sharing, empathy, exchange, and understanding.
The spirit of chamber music goes much beyond conveying pleasant melodies. Moving from solemn concert halls to more intimate and relatable places, it inspires the emotional, rational and spiritual response of the listeners.
Woodwind chamber music brings a more intimate and delicate sound than typical live orchestral music. For the night of 10/1, we have selected ten of the greatest movie soundtracks in film history – from Minuet in G to Le Nozze di Figaro. We hope the concert to touch on the heart of some of the greatest pieces ever written.
