Saxophonist Zhu Zexu was born in Kobe, Japan, and started learning saxophone when he was eight years old. He began studying at the Berklee College of Music in 2014, and began studying Bebop style with pianist Barry Harris in 2016. In 2019, he moved to New York and transferred to William Paterson University. In the past five years, he has performed all over China, Japan and the United States, and has collaborated with musicians including Kim Clarke, Wayne Escoffery and Hiroyuki Tsutsui. Graduate in 2022 and move to Guangdong.

Sam, a new generation of jazz pianist, has studied with the famous Chinese jazz pianist Huang Jianyi, jazz saxophonist Alec Haavik, and jazz guitarist Gu Zhongshan. He has rich experience in jazz performance and stage, and has played with many well-known musicians at home and abroad. Music groups have had wonderful cooperation and exchanges. Such as John Chin, a pianist who has a Grammy-nominated album and is active in the New York jazz scene, Jerome Jennings, resident director of the Juilliard Jazz Band and a member of the Christain Mcbride Trio, Barry Stephenson, a member of Roy Hargrove’s band and bass player, and a pianist from Japan. Tadataka Unno, New York Lincoln Center big band saxophonist Walter Blanding and others have been deeply influenced by jazz music and band atmosphere for many years. The musical language he plays is full of vitality and emotion.

He studied under Jade Lee, a jazz singer and jazz vocal educator signed by JZ, a famous jazz label in Shanghai, and continued to focus on the learning and singing of classic jazz styles and vocal improvisation.

He has performed with the famous Shanghai jazz label “JZ” all-star team, Guangzhou Dimension Jazz Big Band, Zhuhai Golden Jazz Big Band, Guangzhou Maple Jazz Band and other professional teams, and was invited to participate in the Shenzhen Jazz Festival, Shenzhen Grand Theater Concert Hall Jazz Special performances, the first Lingnan Jazz Festival and other performances, several times at JZ Club (GZ), Lavo (SZ), Penny Black Jazz Club (SZ), Roots House (SZ), Meeting Jazz (SZ), 158 jazz club (HZ) A special jazz concert will be held.
In 2019, he formed the Virgo’s Revelry Quartet and released the single “Jazzy Girl” in 2021.

A famous jazz guitarist in Macau, he graduated from The Collective School of Music in New York and the Beijing Institute of Modern Music. In 2019, he recorded Macau’s first jazz album “Traveling Coffee” in New York with New York musicians Bob Quaranta, Gregory Jones and Tobias Ralph, which was released in 2020. In 2022, he collaborated with Grammy winner Ricardo Vogt to produce his second album. He has performed at New York Silvana, Guangzhou Jz club, Zhuhai Golden jazz club, and Shenzhen Meeting jazz club. Participated in Macau International Music Festival, Macau Jazz Week, Macau HUSH Music Festival, Guangzhou Jazz Festival, Shenzhen Jazz Festival, Hengqin Jazz Week, Changchun Jazz Festival, Island Music Festival, International Jazz Day (Zhongshan Station) Liu Yutong special performance Concert (Zhuhai Station). Worked with jazz musicians BobQuaranta, Gregory Jones, Tobias Ralph, Chris Biesterfelft, Franz Von Chossy, Ze Eduardo, Tommy Ho, Teriver Cheung, Riho Shimasue, Patrick Lui, Nie Xin, Park Zhongwen, Du Qia, Terry Yau, Hu Chao, Liang Weitang , Wu Jinru, Joseph Marchione, co-operated on the same stage.

Pianist Wen Bochao graduated from Shenzhen University majoring in jazz piano performance. He studied under the famous Chinese jazz pianist Li Lin and serves as the keyboardist of the Shenzhen local jazz band TPS Quintet. In the past five years, he has focused on jazz performance and creation, and has been active on major jazz and modern music stages.
Bassist Shao Xuan, a 2016 Jazz Bass student from the Faculty of Arts of Shenzhen University, studied under Wang Xubo and held a special concert in the Concert Hall of Shenzhen University Normal College in 2017. In 2017, he was invited to participate in the performance of “Beautiful Sunday” at the Shenzhen Concert Hall. In 2018, he was invited by Zhuhai Sir Kim to go to Zhuhai to hold an exchange concert with Sir Kim’s teachers and students. On January 1, 2019, he participated in the Southern Science and Technology Welcome New Year’s Eve party, invited to perform at Guangzhou JZ CLUB on August 16, 2019.
