In the hot and uninhibited swing era, a form of expression that is popular with the public appeared-jazz big band. They use the most complete vocal strength to enhance the live charm of jazz to the extreme. In the roaring and hot scene, you can always see the crowd ecstatically swinging and dancing around the big orchestra, feeling the wonderful power of jazz in the light, shadow and music.
It is a professional team composed of teachers and graduates from domestic excellent music colleges. After more than ten years of wind and rain, the orchestra has now become a top team with great creative and adaptation capabilities. With excellent member abilities and exquisite arrangements, the Dimension Jazz Orchestra can always control the atmosphere of each performance almost perfectly, making the audience linger and forget to return.

From blues (BLUES), the origin of jazz, to swing (SWING) in the heyday of jazz; there is also rhythmic and cheerful funk (FUNK), Latin (LATIN) full of Latin American ethnic customs, and gentle waves like the setting sun by the sea. BOSSA NOVA, etc.; plus two jazz repertoires with local flavors, “Hong Kong Style” and “Lingnan Folk Music”, independently created by Dimension.

The multi-dimensional style, ingenious adaptation and superb performances surprise old and new audiences every time. As one of the leaders in the development of jazz music in southern China, the Weiwei Jazz Orchestra has accumulated a high degree of attention in the Lingnan area, and has also made outstanding contributions to the cause of jazz popularization.

On April 30th, International Jazz Day, Dimension and Meeting Jazz are both cultural communicators. We hope to let everyone understand the characteristics of jazz through a good form of big band, so the theme is clear, that is, swing, Jazz vs. SWING.
