Under the tutelage of Italian jazz pianist Moreno Donadle Wang Xiaolian, a famous Chinese electronic organ player and educator. In 2016, he successfully challenged the Guinness World Record with Cui Jian, the “Father of Chinese Rock Music”, and was officially certified by Guinness. In 2017, I took the YAMAHA double-key electronic organ professional performance level 5 and professional teacher level 5. In 2018, the band was specially invited by the DPA Master Class World Tour China Station as a live demonstration band. Served as CMA suppersax big band keyboard, Round midnight jazz band keyboard.

Swing Dance developed in the United States in the 1920s and 1930s. During that depressing period, jazz flourished and filled the ballroom, lifting and comforting people’s spirits and providing them with an outlet for catharsis. The retro and playful swing dance has a history of nearly half a year and has been active to this day. It is a typical activity of texture and retro life, and has become the first choice for too many urbanites who are full of stress after get off work.

In MeetingJazz Club, jazz belongs to life. Retro is not just an image expression, but to understand life in the taste of life. We meet every Wednesday to Swing together, and you are welcome to try it too.

Camelwalk is a new swing dance force in Hangzhou. It is committed to the promotion and development of swing dance and retro culture in Hangzhou. The name of the organization comes from the classic movement of camel walk in swing dance, and it also means to dance swing dance outdoors. Camelwalk believes that everyone in Swing does not dance to please others, but enjoys the energy and happiness conveyed by the music itself. We hope to create happiness with swing dance and jazz as the carrier, and create a relaxed and pleasant social atmosphere for everyone.

The trio was co-founded by Wu Mingze, Li Sheng, and bassist Zhang Siyu, the two founders of Gucha /GOODCHA . They not only have a relentless pursuit of jazz, but are also young jazz musicians. Ye Huang , born in Shenzhen, China in 1998, played clarinet, saxophone, piano and composition. He started to learn clarinet performance from Yi Cheng, principal clarinetist of Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra at the age of 9. He moved to New York, USA at the age of 11 to study with Alan Kay of the Juilliard School clarinet playing. Graduated from the jazz performance of New England Conservatory, the top music school in the United States, and studied under masters Jerry Bergonzi, Miguel Zenon, Donny McCaslin, Jason Moran, etc. Huang Ye became the youngest Backun artist in 2019. In August 2020, Huang Ye founded Consci Music LLC music company. He is currently the Music Director of Jazz Lincoln Shanghai Center Big Band.

Huang Ye studied at the famous music high school LaGuardia Performing Arts High School and the Juilliard School pre-college of the Juilliard School of Music, and was admitted to the Lincoln Center Jazz Youth Troupe. During this period, he won the first place in the Ellington Competition Orchestra and the Charles Mingus Competition Best solo performance award. His performances are all over New York, such as, Dizzy’s club, Jazz Standard, Blue Note, Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Museum, Peter J Sharp Theater, Jordan Hall and many large concert halls.

Yi Yuqin , a young American composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist. His works and performances have a unique and colorful musical taste, covering a wide range from practical music to traditional and contemporary classical music and jazz. His works have been performed in China, the United States, Europe and other places. His music is characterized by his meticulous handling of timbre, harmony and rhythm, profound literary artistic conception, and philosophical narration of life experiences.

As a mature composer, Yi Yuqin has performed with American Composers Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, Manhattan Philharmonic Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Flint Symphony Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Windscape Woodwind Quintet, etc. Orchestra cooperation. His compositions and arrangements have been performed in concert halls across China and the United States: Beijing National Center for the Performing Arts, Guangzhou Jz Club, Zhuhai Grand Theater, New York’s DiMenna Center, Town Hall, Neidorff-Karpati Hall, Ades Performance Space, Greenfield Hall, The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the St. Louis Opera House in Missouri, the Apolo Theater in Texas, and more.

Pianist He Zhifeng graduated from Oklahoma Central University with a major in jazz piano performance. Performance experience: Jazz piano performance at the North Colorado Jazz Festival, the largest music event in central America in 2012. In 2012, he performed with jazz trombone celebrity Delfeayo Marsalis at Oklahoma UCO Jazz Lab. He has been participating in Hangzhou local jazz performances and Popularize jazz music education.

Bassist Dong Di graduated from the Pop Music Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. He has studied music since he was a child. He has studied with many famous teachers at home and abroad. He has participated in West Lake International Music Festival, Flower Music Season and other large-scale activities for many times.

In the second half, everyone is welcome to bring your musical instruments, your dedication and love for jazz, and meet jazz together. At the same time, each musician participating in the Jam can receive a glass of free wine/soft drink at the bar.
